Locrio with Salami

A delicious recipe full of wonderful flavors. A Dominican favorite dish that never fails!



Ingredients

Vegetable oil Chicken Bouillon Cube Sofrito

Adobo Seasoning

Mamita’s Salami Ketchup Seasoning Marinade Dried oregano Black pepper Rice Water Instructions

In a large pot, heat the oil over medium heat. Sauté the chicken bouillon cube, sofrito, olives, tomato sauce, marinade, oregano, and black pepper.


Add the Mamita's Salami Tradicional and cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add water. When the water starts to boil, add the rice. Let cook, occasionally stirring to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pot.

Once the water has evaporated, lower the heat to medium-low. Cover and let cook for 25 minutes. After 25 minutes, gently stir the rice and cover for an additional 5 minutes.


Serve hot with a side of avocado.
